This OM4 LC to LC Multimode Duplex Fiber Optic Patch cable delivers reliable connectivity across 40 and 100 Gigabit networks. The TIA-standard Erika Violet jacket clearly distinguishes OM4 from Aqua OM3/OM4 cabling, eliminating guesswork in critical network setups. The compact uniboot connector design enables easy insertion and removal in high-density installations. Engineered for Optimal Performance Built with laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF), the OM4 fiber patch cable is ideal for 850 nm and 1350 nm Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) and LED sources. Precision-manufactured ceramic ferrules maintain accurate fiber alignment to prevent connectivity issues and minimize insertion loss. Designed for reliability in high-density network applications, the LC to LC 'polished fiber ends greatly improves return loss characteristics over older PC polishing techniques which may negatively affect performance. OFNR Riser Rated Housed in an OFNR (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser) flame-retardant jacket, this Riser-rated OM4 fiber cable is engineered to minimize vertical flame propagation between building floors. It ensures safer cable installations in riser spaces and vertical shafts within commercial buildings, supporting compliance with fire codes in multi-story structures and other regulated environments. Wide Compatibility This multimode 50/125µm fiber optic patch cord is backward compatible with OM3 and 1/10/40 Gbps networks, ensuring a reliable connection with legacy fiber environments. Our fiber cables undergo rigorous testing to verify operation within strict optical insertion loss limits, ensuring compatibility and 100% reliability.
