OS2 SC/SC Single Mode Duplex Fiber Optic Patch cable facilitates reliable connectivity across 40G/100G networks. It supports Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) across an extended wavelength range of 1260-1625nm, enhancing signal quality and performance capacity over legacy OS1 cables. The bend-insensitive fiber and molded strain reliefs support cable runs requiring micro/macro bends while maintaining low attenuation. The OS2 patch cable is ideal for 1260-1625nm laser-optimized sources. Backward compatible with 9/125 fiber equipment, ensuring a reliable connection with legacy LANs. Housed in a Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) flame-retardant jacket, this SM duplex fiber optic cable ensures minimal smoke, toxicity, and corrosion when exposed to extreme sources of heat or in the event of a fire. Capable of operating in a wide range of environments, including industrial settings, central offices, and schools, as well as residential settings where building codes are a consideration. Each OS2 fiber cable is also individually tested for insertion loss and attenuation that meets or exceeds the ITU-T G652.D/G657.A1 and IEC60703-2-50 type B1.3/B6.a1 industry standards, for guaranteed compatibility and 100% reliability. This OS2 Fiber Patch Cable is backed for life, including free lifetime multi-lingual technical assistance.

Features

• OS2 FIBER CABLE: Single Mode OS2 Fiber Cable is immune to EMI and optimized for 10/40/100G networks; Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) enables extended 1260-1625nm wavelength support for greater channel isolation over long distances
• QUALITY CONSTRUCTION: SC/SC-'ends for improved return loss over PC polish; Number-labeled connectors to indicate polarity; Bend Insensitive fiber core housed in Aramid-reinforced jacket for a loaded bend radius of 10mm
• SAFETY AND RELIABILITY: Individually tested for guaranteed performance; Test report included; LSZH jacket emits low toxic fumes if combusted; Safe for enclosed/poorly ventilated spaces; Attenuation value under 0.35dB/km outperforms industry standards
• COMPATIBILITY: Single Mode Fiber Patch Cord supports 40G/100G networks; Backward compatible with OS1; High micro-bend resistance facilitates tight bends in complex installations; Ideal for connecting between servers/switches and data center equipment
