Intellinet Gigabit Media Converter PoE++ Injector 90W RJ45 to SFP This Intellinet gigabit media converter combines copper-to-fiber conversion with a built-in PoE++ injector in one compact unit. It features one 10/100/1000 RJ45 port with support for cable runs up to 328 ft. and one SFP slot for 1000Base-X optical transceiver modules, supporting links up to 75 miles depending on the module used. The integrated PoE injector delivers up to 90 watts to compatible powered devices, helping support demanding applications such as motorized IP cameras, thin clients, PoE lighting, door phones, POS systems, and digital signage. A DIP switch lets you select among three PoE++ modes: IEEE 802.3bt, UPoE, and Legacy. Auto-sensing PoE awareness sends power only to compliant IEEE 802.3bt/at/af devices, while non-PoE devices receive data only. The unit also supports full- and half-duplex operation with autonegotiation, IEEE 802.3x flow control, a 2K MAC address table with auto-learning and auto-aging, 2 Mbits of buffer memory, and jumbo frames up to 9 kBytes. Built for dependable operation, it includes short-circuit, overload, and high-voltage protection, plus a grounding point, port surge protection up to 4 kV, and ESD protection up to 8 kV air and 6 kV contact. A fanless metal housing supports silent operation. LEDs indicate fiber, PoE, power, and LAN status. The included power adapter accepts 100 to 240 VAC and provides 55 V DC at 2.3 A. The converter measures 3.7 x 2.76 x 1.02 in. and is TAA compliant.
