- Use it as a stand-alone converter on a desktop or shelf, or install it in the compatible 14-slot Media Converter Chassis model 507356 when you need a more organized multi-converter setup in network environments.
- For WDM bi-directional operation, this unit must be paired with model 510547, making it suitable for matched single-strand fiber links that separate transmit and receive traffic by wavelength across the same fiber run.
- Includes an external power adapter and features a metal housing that measures 4.13 x 2.72 x 0.98 in. and weighs 0.4 lb., giving you a compact media conversion option for Fast Ethernet single-mode fiber installations.
