They feature a peel and stick adhesive backing that can be mounted directly to most surfaces. Super high lumen and bright enough for task lighting, but dimmable with HitLights compact plug-in dimmers or dimmable driver/dimmer switches, they're great for adding ambiance to ceiling coves or crown moldings, under kitchen counters or above a cabinet, lighting a vanity, or any room where decorative lighting or full illumination is needed. These discreet strips feature closely packed LEDs for smooth, even light without spotting. Application steps: - Clean the surface where you want to apply. - Remove the tape backing. - Press and hold the light strip firmly against the surface. - Plug your light strip into your 12V DC adapter, transformer, driver or wall outlet.(compatible with HitLight LED Controller). IMPORTANT: For waterproof strip types, cutting will cause the strip to lose its waterproof capability. If you don't know how to re-seal the silicone protective housing, we do not recommend cutting them.
