Description
The ASA-OVC2 Overcasters are lightweight, clip-on visors designed to simulate instrument flight conditions for pilots during training. These frosted visors attach easily to any prescription eyeglass or sunglass frames, eliminating the need for cumbersome straps or hoods. When flipped down, they provide near-perfect simulated instrument conditions; when flipped up, they allow for a seamless transition to visual flight. Overcasters are flexible, durable, and widely accepted by FAA examiners for use in practical tests and checkrides. For convenient storage, they can remain attached to your glasses or be clipped onto a kneeboard, notebook, or flight bag. Manufactured in Korea, these view-limiting devices are an essential tool for any pilot undergoing instrument training.
