I bought this speaker with a Spartan wall mount for my rv. It's compact and sounds great and now I can hear my television clearly while my ac is on. I love the portability of it and now I can even listen to some of my sports show while cooking breakfast outside.

Very easy to carry around and pretty good audio quality for such a small speaker! Had for a while now and it’s been great. You really get a lot of value of of it, very easy to connect to my iPhone and looks very fancy. I would recommend getting it👍

This is one of those speakers that doesn’t try to do too much, but does what it’s supposed to really well. Build quality stood out right away. It feels solid, durable, and like you don’t have to baby it. The size and fit are perfect too, easy to carry around or throw in a bag without taking up much space. The fabric and rubber design give it that rugged feel, and overall it just feels well made.Sound quality is where it really shines. For the size, it has a surprising amount of power. It gets loud enough to fill a room without sounding distorted, and the bass hits nicely without drowning everything else out. Vocals and mids still come through clean. It’s not replacing a full speaker setup, but for something portable, it definitely holds its own.I’ve been using it for everyday listening, small gatherings, hiking, gaming, and just having music on in the background while I’m working, and it’s been consistent across all of it. Bluetooth connection is quick and has been stable, no random drops or reconnect issues. Once it’s paired, it just works. Controls are simple and easy to use too.Battery life has been solid. I can get close to a full day out of it depending on volume, and charging is straightforward and doesn’t take long. It’s easy to keep it topped up and ready to go. The waterproof design is also a nice bonus, especially if you’re using it outside or around water, just adds that extra peace of mind.Overall, this is one of those speakers that just works. Good sound, solid build, reliable connection, and strong battery life. Great option if you want something portable with enough power for everyday use without overthinking it.Sidenote: excuse the sandy pictures, I take my speaker to the beach with me often!

The sound is emaculate.

Nice volume for a small speaker, however on full volume it only lasts about five hours

awesome sound works as advertised

It’s nice. The sound is good. I would buy it again

Love it! Great sound quality. I take it to most of my trips out of the country. Bought one for my mom and my husband bought one as well.

PROS:It does have really clean crisp sound; it picks up those lows and highs really well. The bass sounds good but its not very strong bass, not like a punch but its good.Battery life is great and the look of the speaker is cool.(i got the ash gray color because red wasn't an option at the time)I like the party-boost option to pair another Flip5 with another to make bigger stereo sound.(It appears they will be dual mono until you click the party boost button twice to split the sound into 2 speakers like stereo.)CONS:It says you can control it with the app, but for the Flip5 the only options you have is renaming the Bluetooth connection (can even use vulgarity lol), turn off/on the button/startup/shutdown noises, check for updates, and it shows the battery percentage. There are no EQ settings or anything else for this BT speaker. The price of $80ish is a little steep to me considering the lack of EQ option.Additional info-I also ordered a Soundcore Anker 3 BT speaker as it was supposed to be comparable to the Flip 5 at almost half the price.I can tell you the Soundcore app does have EQ settings and a Bass-up mode, but... no matter what settings you try it does not compare to the great quality sound from the Flip5. The SC 3 on factory audio settings sounds ok and ok at louder volumes but again it does not even come close to the Flip5. I am in the process of returning the SC3 as I speak.

My brother recommended I give these speakers a try. I was blown away by how clear the volume is. It was easy to pair and charge. It’s perfect for a pool day.

I’m a fan of JBL after this purchase, had one years ago and honestly don’t remember much about it! This one has a great sound, it’s loud and the base is great! Would definitely recommend after owning nothing but Bose over the last 10 years, JBL is in the same class and you don’t have to spend near as much!

My husband ordered this speaker as he had a JBL a few years ago. He is thrilled with the sound on this new one. He uses it on the screen porch in the north woods. He is extremely happy with the quality of the sound.

This might be the best money I ever spent on Amazon. This is a powerful Bluetooth speaker that’s easy to set up and use. Excellent sound, great volume. It’s for outside use by the pool and it’s even waterproof! Pairs instantly to my iPhone!

Fantastic and amazing JBL speaker .I just bought it recently .the volume is low medium and high. I like the bass of the speaker .It was I think around $76 .Not to bad at all for a product. 10-10 item .I really do enjoy my speaker when I drive my car places .It's a wonderful item to have.

I had a previous version, but I messed up the charging port and needed to upgrade anyways. It’s the perfect fit for my life, the battery life is pretty darn good. It works great! The installation wasn’t hard at all; so pretty easy to use.The sound quality is amazing! I always bring this speaker with me when I’m gathering with friends.

Awesome speaker! I didn’t realize how much I would love this! The sound quality is amazing! Easy to pair with my iPhone! Easy to charge and hold a charge a long time. Great value for the money! I plan to buy a case to carry it and also to secure it when traveling. Right now I put it in an oblong black toiletry bag and carry it when not in use. I bought the little wooden speaker stand and it secures it well on my bathroom counter. Portable! I would give it a 10 star rating if it were possible

Sound quality is great, Volume perfect, and device feels weighty and well built. Pretty happy with the purchase. And battery life is pretty good. We use it at pool parties, trips to the beach, or just outside while doing chores, no issues

Im very happy with this speaker. The sound quality is clear and loud, the battery lasts a long time, and it connects quickly to my phone. It’s lightweight, waterproof, and perfect for trips, pool days, or relaxing at home. The pink color is also really cute

Truly surprised by the sound. Of course great JBL clarity, but despite the small size it provides deep bass and will certainly get loud enough to bug the neighbors.... if you do that sort of thing on occasion.

I love it! Great bass response. Very clear sound, even at increased volume. Although it is small, it fills a room. It is very portable and has a long battery life. I have bragged about it to my family and am going to purchase another one as a gift for someone special.

This JBL waterproof speaker delivers excellent sound quality with strong volume and clear audio, even in outdoor settings. The waterproof feature makes it especially useful for pool days, beach trips, or general outdoor activities. It’s also durable and easy to carry around.Overall, it’s a high-quality portable speaker that performs well and holds up in different environments.

Received brand new Flip 5 within 24 hours of ordering. Speaker was well packaged in original sealed box. Speaker itself was incased in hard foam box inside packaging. Charged well on initial charge. Tunes are magnificent. Much better than my old Bose blue speaker. Love that it easily connects to my iPhone. Loved it so much I ordered a Flip 6 to keep in kitchen family room area as the Flip 5 is for my home gym in garage. My first JBL speaker outside of JBL headphones purchased last year. I’ve since abandoned being a Bose customer due to JBL’s quality and price points.

I absolutely love this JBL speaker, I just wish it could be a little louder and last more on one charge than an hour and a half since I use it during work when I need to stand somewhere for 2+ hours at a time

Sounds great and has a good distance before it goes off.

This is just ehat I needed for my office. Its small but has great sound quality.

Nice sound quality, not super loud but loud enough. Highly recommend.

This thing puts out some seriously good sound for such a compact little speaker - I’m no audiophile but I honestly like it better than the Bose I bought a few months back. Right out of the box it had clean, RICH sound, good balance of bass, mid, and treble, and loud enough to use outside. 4 stars only because after downloading the app I found there was no equalizer option for this model, which to me feels like it should be standard, but I can work with the EQ on my phone, so…maybe 4.5 stars 😏. Overall very very happy with this little guy!

I've had a JBL Flip 5 for six years, used almost daily, and I still only have to charge it about every other week. The sound is very good for the size. The volume controls on the device take smaller steps than the buttons on my phone, which is great for me, I like to find the perfect volume. My only complaint is it makes a loud sound when it turns on and off or connects to Bluetooth, which I find jarring.
