Lasts 2.5 years. Very convenient and light to use; magnet was very strong. Cannot wirelessly charge or attach to a car phone mount if pop socket is on. Wish it could also extend to become a vertical phone stand. Will buy something else that could do all the above but overall it lasted me a fair use for the last 2.5 years!

This pop socket is my 2nd in 6 years. I love these things! They're easy to put on, just peel and stick on a flat surface. Can't use them on textures in my experience, only flat. Once its on, smash that bad boy down a few times and hold for maybe 10 seconds. After that, its never coming off. I finally changed phones and didn't have a case, but wanted to wait until I did to install a new pop socket. Got a case that had those awful kick stands that never last. And it finally bit the dust. So I got my forever accessory, this black, plain pop socket. No its not fancy. Not its not expensive or a new product. But it is tried and true. It squashed down to almost completely flat, and fits in my back pocket without issue. It keeps me from having ridges on my pinky or middle finger from holding the lower section of my phone case. Its handy, long lasting and I won't be without one. This one was shipped fast, came on time and is exactly as pictured.

This magnetic popsocket is fantastic! THE MAGNETIC HOLD IS SO STRONG, I have never ever had an issue with it.I use it with the "Torres Shockproof" 2026 magnetic / magsafe type phone case, which also has the extra strong magnets so that helps probably, but I think it would be very strong on any magnetic case.BY THE WAY I HAVE A SAMSUNG GALAXY S26 PLUS, AND IT DOES NOT, I repeat, NOT, OVERLAP WITH MY CAMERA!! (at least not using the phone case I mentioned above.) There is no other grip better, or more comfortable to use, than a PopSocket. I was so worried about my new S26 plus phone, because so many people with my phone said they couldn't use them, because the PopSocket overlapped with the camera, at least the magnetic things.....well NOT THIS ONE. This one works perfect!!It folds down extremely slim, so I don't have any issues with putting it in my pants' pockets, or purse pockets, or anything.Also, I use a magnetic car dash phone holder, so it is so convenient just to pull it off and place it in my cup holder, well I stick my phone to the magnetic car dash mount for my phone.... And when I'm done I just pop it back on. So simple and convenient.I love PopSockets!

works as described but handle comes apart from base on it’t own. I almost lost it because of this. I reattached it and it has stayed connected ever since hopefully it doesn’t come apart again. some metal showing on iphone magsafe area hopefully it doesn’t become a problem.

I have this and the regular MagSafe PopSocket. When compared side by side, the regular one has a noticeably stronger magnet. If you're trying to hold the phone by only the PopSocket, I wouldn't trust the kick-out version as much.

Used for open/close knob on screen door trailer. Works well but over-priced for my use but I'll keep it

I have tried many dupe pop socket products just to not pay $40 for this but once I decided to give it a shot I can say that I’ve been missing out. Very sleek and comfortable product. The kick stand makes this 100 percent worth it. Such a great added feature.

I was a little hesitant on getting the magnetic PopSocket because I wasn’t sure how well it would stay on. But I have been very happy with it! It holds securely to my iPhone 17 case with no slipping or shifting. However if I do need to remove it, it comes off easily by lifting it at a slight angle. As with every PopSocket I’ve ever bought, it is well made, durable, and looks great. Great product and great value.

I absolutely adore my Pop-it phone holder! I went without one for months, and I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I got this one today. It instantly reminded me why paying $30 is worth it. It makes holding and propping up my phone a thousand times easier every day. Holding my phone with little hands can be quite uncomfortable, but with this phone holder, I don’t mind as much anymore. I definitely recommend it for phone users with magnetic cases. I even bought a magnetic case just so I could have this Pop-it. When I’m not using my phone, I can simply push it down and throw it in my purse without any problems. Or use to prop hands free!

Super cute design. I had a hard time choosing a regular pop socket and one that was MagSafe. Im happy with my choice and the price. It’s super sticky and I’ve never had an issue before. Really good grip.

I’ve been using it for approx 3 hours and it’s working out really nice. If I have any negative issues I’ll return with an updated review. But so far….A+

I got this for my daughter for her birthday. This PopSocket has stayed on very well. She has dropped her phone a few times (like all teens do) and its stayed strong. It's firm, you can remove it easily and my daughter is so happy with it.

Product is just as described in description. It's durable I always like pop socket brand, but I always do half to put a couple drops of super glue to have the extra hold or else it will just not stay on well.

Very happy with this PopSocket kick-out grip. I tried the Oh Snap! one with the built-in stand as well, but actually prefer the PopSocket version. The Oh Snap! one is thinner, but I find the PopSocket grip more comfortable in the hand, and I can keep the stand element aligned to landscape mode (I almost never need a stand when using portrait mode).

I love the pop socket kick out. I’ve been waiting for this product for a long my time. I like that I can keep my phone upright or horizontal while also having the comfort of the pop socket. Other brands just don’t feel good to me. The hinge does break in but it doesn’t become loose. It’s super easy to use. Pop sockets are generally overpriced in my opinion but I think this is worth the money.

I had the older version that was more of a big oval and it finally chipped around the popsocket and would no longer hold any of the popsockets I have so I got this hoping for the best and I was pleasantly surprised. It sticks on great I have no idea why people say there's no hold. I haven't swapped out the popsocket for one of my other ones yet but I can tell this one is nice and firm when I prop my phone up to watch YouTube videos at lunch it doesn't tip over which is very nice. I would definitely get this item again

A friend of mine got me hooked on pop sockets. If you like them too, you really should update to the MagSafe version. When I found out about these I immediately ordered one. I will never go back to the adhesive type ever again. They hold tight but aren’t difficult to remove to connect to a MagSafe charger.Now there’s something I should point out. In the package, there is a metal ring that can make your current normal case work with this. I didn’t like it. It was a pain to get it to work right. So I ended up upgrading to a new case and now it fits perfectly. I strongly recommend you do the same. No matter what brand you choose, make sure the description says “MagSafe Compatible”. I got this because I wanted something that would make holding my phone more comfortable and help reduce the strain on my thumb. It definitely helps with that. It’s comfortable to hold, cute, and the MagSafe magnet makes it really easy to attach and remove.I took off one star because I was also hoping to use it as a phone stand, and it doesn’t work very well for that. The pop-out part isn’t rigid enough to consistently hold the phone in position. Sometimes it partially collapses back in and my phone falls over.As a grip, though, I love it and use it all the time.

I started using PopSockets with my first MagSafe iPhone, years ago. I much prefer them to the ring-shaped phone grips, as I think they're more comfortable and more flexible in how they can be held. My old PopSocket, however, always had one glaring flaw: the kickstand functionality. Especially since phones keep getting bigger, the grip doesn't stick out far enough to act as a stand, most of the time.This PopSocket fixes that flaw. By ironically taking queues from the rest of the cheap MagSafe stand/grip sector, they added a hinge so you can flip out the entire grip to give you far more stability since you're not trying to balance everything just on the edge of the popped-out grip. Once you're done doing whatever, you can flip it closed with a satisfying *snap* and you're good to go.I've been using this thing for a few months now, and I'm not noticing any signs of the hinge loosening like others have claimed. I'd say I flip it open a few times a day, and it feels just as sturdy as the first time I opened it. This may have been a design issue that's been addressed, or maybe some of us are luckier than others.A separate design issue that I do have is with its orientation. With the older PopSocket MagSafe attachment, there was an extra bit of the base piece (which contained the MagSafe magnets) which hung down to be able to utilize the additional magnet for stabilizing an accessory's orientation. Effectively, it's so you can't attach an accessory upside-down or sideways. This lacks that extra bit, so orienting the hinge to determine which side the stand flips out on is up to you. While this is a good thing from the perspective that it can be used as both a vertical or horizontal stand, it creates the additional problem of needing to ensure the hinge isn't crooked, lest your phone fall over when you put it down. I think a detachable piece that could be snapped onto the main body on each of the three primary sides you'd want it oriented in would be very handy. Otherwise, attaching it or detaching it from an iPhone is extremely easy, while also feeling extremely secure. I do wish it was a bit easier to actually pull the flip-out part away from the base piece, though.I glad that in spite of the thinner design from the previous version, it is still just thick enough to protect my phone's cameras from sitting on whatever surface I put my phone down on. I know it's not likely I'll be able to scratch the lenses, but I'd still rather be using my relatively cheap stand as a cushion than the camera bump of my $1000+ device.All in all, it's a fantastic upgrade, and if it lasts even half as long as my old PopSocket, it'll be more than worth it.
