The J-Tech Digital JTD4KATSW 4K HDMI Audio Extractor takes an incoming audio video signal from an HDMI source device or HDMI-ARC capable display and de-embeds audio so that users may route audio independently from video. The HDMI ARC to optical audio function of the JTD4KATSW makes integrating legacy AV equipment like amplifiers or AV receivers simple and easy. When extracting stereo PCM audio from an HDMI source device, the JTD4KATSW audio extractor can act as an HDMI audio splitter and all three output ports (RCA | SPDIF | HDMI) will be active simultaneously. Perfect for incorporating headphones or hearing aid devices.
