The Directional Vehicle Sensor is an easy to install device designed to provide superior performance for the inbound and outbound traffic monitoring. The sensor can send different signals for each direction or it can ignore outbound traffic completely. The receiver features two Form “C” relays that can be connected to an alarm control or home automation panel (not included) to act as a hard-wired zone for the panel. The 12 VDC output can be used to power external devices such as bells, sirens, strobes or any other 12 VDC device (not included) and the output duration can be set to 1, 5, 15 seconds or 5 minutes. With its class-leading range of up to one mile, this sensor has the longest wireless range among its competitors and is less prone to false signals from deer or lightning strikes. The sensor operates on three CR-123 batteries (included) that typically last for a year or more, making it an ultra-reliable solution for monitoring traffic with no need to worry about charging. The device can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°F to 120°F and is only compatible with the 4000 series receivers.
