This item is a bright blinking red LED wired to a 4 AAA batteries in a realistic looking keypad. It looks just like a typical home security alarm keypad.

The LED bulb is red and blinks brightly continuously.

The expected battery life of 4 AAA batteries (not included) in continuous use is 1.5 FULL YEARS. Don't get fooled by the purposely vague and misleading "daily usage" claims of others...Changing batteries every 3 months will surely drive you crazy.

This item is well-made yet simple & reliable. Don't worry about forgetting to turn it on or off. Just pop in some batteries, attach it to any flat surface with the included screws or some double-back tape, and you're good for 1.5 YEARS.

Most people install these next to their front door (see sample images). But you can also put one next to a garage door, a shed door, your sliding glass door in back...anywhere you want to give the bad guys second thoughts, causing them to move on to easier targets.

Usage: Just install four fresh alkaline AAA batteries, and the LED will begin to flash. Simple.

Blinking rate of the LED is about 1 flash per second. Studies show that this rate is ideal for attracting the eye without being annoying. This flash rate also mimics speed of expensive alarm systems' LED flashing rate.

To Install: Attach the back mounting plate to the selected wall surface using the included mounting screws. Hook the top edge of the keypad housing onto the top edge of the mounting plate, then swing the housing downwards to attach it to the back mounting plate. Insert the lock screw in the bottom of the housing to lock it to the back mounting plate.
