A strong magnet in the base allows for easy positioning. Signals carry better when the antenna is higher up and in a more open area. <br> <br> <b>Premium shielded coaxial cable</b> <br> Unlike cheaper base options, this includes 11 feet of LMR-200 shielded low loss extension cable built into the base to limit your signal gain loss.
